I find myself wanting a slightly higher rise version of my old AG Tomboy jeans from about 5-6 years ago. I’m still wearing my mid-dark wash pair (the light wash pair is pretty beat up and is at the ranch) and I released the back hem to get a bit more length out of them and add a more current vibe. But the rise is a little low for looking current, and it falls short with the lengths of many current tops.

The Tomboy cut is mostly shown rolled online, and I wore them like that for a while, but I really like how, when worn unrolled, they have the perfect “relaxed straight” cut for my tree trunk legs. This is really hard to find. I like my flare and bootcut jeans but they do tend to be cut narrower on the top of the leg. Sigh, big thigh problems.

Here’s a photo of me wearing the jeans, and a link to a pair in a dark wash. The rise is 8” in front, just a bit on the short side for current styles.

Any suggestions? I love that AG actually includes the leg opening and knee measurements on their jeans, but it seems most other denim makers don’t. So it is hard to know what to even try. Most jeans are cut so $&@% narrow in the leg I can’t even wear them even sized up.
