Here is what I wore to work this week re-created today so I could photograph them quickly for this post. I didn't have time to take daily pics so please forgive the wrinkles.
I felt fab in everything, and recieved multiple compliments, but sadly I snagged the white silk blouse I wore with my cropped jeans - you may be able to see the tear in the photo.
I have posted most of these items before. I had the Enza Costa dress in pic 6 altered. The pockets were removed and the front placket has been sewn shut most of the way. It fits better and IMO is more flattering. I thought the pockets jutted strangely at my hips. The last pic is the unaltered dress.
Pic 5 has a J Crew tweed jacket that I had heavily altered to fit. It's a size 6 for sleeve length but my torso size is smaller.
I played around with various ways to semi tuck the Eileen Fisher linen top in pic 1 into my skirt. Otherwise it looked too overwhelmingly large. It was hard to photograph but there was an interesting origami effect to the top after I tucked it this way.
