Synne - when I bought this dress I thought of Brooklyn too, especially her 'Dark Romance' phase. It is an interesting observation because we do wear dark florals differently.
Star - the reason I bought this dress was to use it as a work dress, so cutting the tags and wearing immediately means it gets worn and enjoyed. I don't want to be precious with this dress as otherwise there is no point in owning it.
Lyn - I am glad you think that I can wear such puffy sleeves.
Mirjana - thank you so very much! Once I tried on the dress, I was so pleased at how beautiful the construction is. It has small touches like little straps to lock in my bra straps so they don't show on the neckline and the lining is connected to the hem of the dress, so the lining cannot ride up.
Brooklyn - it is not hard to be the best dressed on Zoom, most of my counterparts are in polos and hoodies. Someone has to maintain standards!
Staysfit - I am glad you like the massive puff sleeves. It does make it quite different to my other dresses.
Preppy Pear - it was a lovely dress to wear and I really enjoyed feeling dressed up even though I did not leave the house today (well I did go out for a walk, but that was in gear).
Mainlady - thankyou! A good dress always helps to make me feel pulled together and ready for work.
Ginger - I have always loved looking at Erdem designs however most are too formal for my lifestyle, this is one of his more casual pieces.
Janet - it is nice to try some darker tones which I have been drawn to lately.
Robin - I am surprised at how much approval the sleeves have got. I was worried that they would overwhelm me.
Gryffin - I remember Anne of Green Gables and her desire to have a dress with puff sleeves!
Aquamarine - I like dressing up for work, even though I am at home, it puts me in the right frame of mind to get my work done. I also just enjoy wearing nice clothes, even if it is just for me.
Suntiger - I seem to have collected quite a few blouses with puffy sleeves, but this is my first dress with them.
UmmLila - you make a good point about the proportions of this dress. I was drawn to it because of the fabric but I think this is a dress that is very versatile because it can be dressed up or down.
