Hi all!

I’m continuing with my dark neutrals and bits of burgundy. Today I had to meet up with some folks who purchased some items from me (I’m cleaning house! Who needs a big mid-century modern mirror? A vintage telephone table?), so I made an effort to dress.

Super basic base: DL1961 straights, old Marled brand merino mock turtleneck (yes, one of the very small number of turtlenecks that makes the comfort cut for me), and very old Lord & Taylor cashmere hoodie. I added a scarf I bought from a street market in Paris 12 years ago. I don’t wear it often since it skews a bit more boho than I usually do these days, at least for winter, but the colors appealed to me today, and I like the touch of boho paisley with the long leather jacket. Interesting that I will go a little more boho in summer, but not usually much in winter.

Peruvian Connection leather jacket, Pikolinos red boots, and for venturing outside in the cold, some funky gloves I picked up at a local boutique last year.

I’m finding that adding a little extra extra in my signature statement rings helps me feel more like myself in the absence of statement earrings, which are just too much of a hassle with masks.

I really enjoyed wearing this. It’s nothing special but felt good and normal to wear something like this for some out and about time.
