Hello all :).
The last couple of weeks has seen me gain a bit around my tummy. Oops. Anyway... my absolute favorite blue jeans have always been quite tight and with no stretch. I think that’s actually the secret to why they looked good; because they sat very firmly and didn’t stretch out or wrinkle/pull across the thighs.... however now they’re a little too tight for comfort. And I’m just not up to jeans shopping right now both in terms of time, money, and also the weather is warming up so I won’t really need them for ages.
So I’ve purchased two inexpensive pairs of “utility joggers” in Tencel (one olive one navy) and am wearing them for casual, or my stitch knee leggings, or my looser-fit white and blue print jeans.....
I figure it’s a least a step above track pants.....
What do you guys think? For school and kinder runs, the park, cleaning, visiting local friends, playgroup, watching kids sports, non-fancy shopping, dog walks etc
Just to note, the sweater in pic 1 is navy not black, and the black shirt in 1-3 has little white polka dots.
Oh, and another thing. I have recently purchased two tops (the black polka dot shirt is one of them) in a larger PETITE size... so two sizes bigger than normal but in petite... but that seems to be giving me the fit I like. Very interesting because I’m five-six. Maybe I have a short torso?
Comments and critique welcome... extra points for any styling ideas for utility joggers :). Thank you all.
