Whatever’s underneath, by the time I’m wrapped up to go out, it all looks the same. The bomber jacket is brown, but I often wear it with black or any other color.
1-3 Black Esprit pants, Seychelles gold faux brocade boots, LLBean bomber jacket, leopard pattern gloves with Thinsulate bought at TJ Max several years ago, plaid angora scarf my grandma got me in Scotland (she died 30 years ago—I like remembering her). Underneath b/w Laundry by S Segal sweater & Black T-neck bodysuit (also, I remembered to wear something under the pants this time!)
4-6. I wasn’t sure about this. Not just because of the patterns—I also wasn’t sure I liked the shapes together.
Esprit tweedish cardi, M Dutti T-neck, Banana Republic skirt, Redwing boots, black fleece tights, LLBean bomber
7-8 wearing party pieces in everyday life, barely counts as pattern mixing
red velvet T-shirt, black Commando bodysuit, Banana Republic skirt, Redwing boots, LL Bean jacket, black & white wool herringbone scarf.
