This semester has been very busy so I haven't been posting any photos. I also found that I don't have to take as many photos since a lot of my winter work outfits were worked out last year (with the help of YLF) so I can just fall back on tried and true formulas.
Here are three recent WIWs from more casual days at work (no teaching - hence, shorter skirts and slimmer trousers ). I dislike the neckline of the lilac sweater in #2 so wore it with a scarf.
I also finally found a leather jacket I like (#4 - Bernardo quilted jacket). Unlike a dozen or more other jackets I tried and returned, it fits well, has streamlined style (not too many details, zippers etc.), and the color is exactly what I was looking for. #5 is Gibson equestrian jacket (similar to the grey one in #3 but with a peplum, and in a cimson color). I am debating whether the peplum is a bit too much for work/teaching but it seems to look OK from the back. What do you think?
#6 is a dress from Ann Taylor that probably should go back - I don't think I can wear it without a jacket due to lumpy-bumpiness factor. It was only $24 and the color looks good under the jacket but is it worth keeping?
