A few WIW: welcoming spring

I am so excited to finally welcome spring and having fun with my spring wardrobe. I still need to add a few key pieces but this is what I have so far.
#1 trying a combo of plaid and denim. I saw this on pinterest and thought it was a fun idea.
#2 The white denim jacket comes out to play and semi-tucking with my new white and black polka dot belt. Do the proportions work with cropped jacket?
#3 Apple green gap blazer looks great with this blue shirt and I added the same belt and pearls for some white in the outfit.
I know I need a pair of white/ivory coloured shoes desperately.
As always, suggestions for improvement are more than welcome!

Wow - you are already ON it!! Amazing. I am still in my winter duds. (And by now, most of them feel like duds, too!) I have promised myself that the real spring dressing will begin on my trip.

I love all of these. Fun shirt layering in #1. You look superb in the white denim, and wow, does it ever say springtime! And I also love you in the green.

Do you have a lead on light coloured footwear?

I usually start dressing up for spring on 1st March as by that time I am so sick and tried of my winter clothing.
I have been looking at few of the posts here for light coloured footwear and found some that I really liked but I am reluctant to order online from USA. It is really tricky with shoes. Do you have a pair in mind?

These are great, Mona! You look great in light/bright colors! I love the simplicity of the layered shirt in 1. Casual and stylish. #2 and 3 are fab. I can see how light footwear will make these even more spring like! They look great as is though, too.

My fave is #1. I don't like denim, have no use for denim, but I've been jonesing anyways for a denim outfit just as cool as the one you've donned.

Great outfits! I like the denim and plaid layered together in #1. I also love the stripes and polka dots together in #2. So subtle with just the belt, but perfect. The colors in #3 are so fresh and spring-like.

I love you in the bright jackets (#2 and #3). Great use of the boyfriend and I like the touch of pearl in #3 a lot too!

I can't concentrate on the rest because I am mesmerized with #2. Wow! KILLER look, Mona! You wear black footwear so well because it bookends your hair. And your wild and wonderful hair against the white jacket is magical

Mona, Angie is right - you are lucky to be able to get away with black footwear even when you are wearing a light colour on top, because of your dark hair. It works on you very well.

For light footwear, for now I am sticking with my Report booties (taupe) and my Petty booties (snakeskin). I really want a pair of oxfords, too, but have not found my perfect pair, or any pair, for that matter! I would definitely like a few more spring footwear choices.

Ooh, really love this! I think the cropped jacket works here because you have the white top sticking out the bottom. So cool with the boots!

Oh Mona, these are all great outfits! I'm very inspired to emulate you. The last one has so happy colors, and what a promise of spring. You look terrific! I have a green cotton velvet blazer and a blue t-shirt just like yours, but I hadn't thought of combining them yet. Thanks for the inspiration.

The green jacket and blue top would work wonderfully with the black trousers in number one. I am not too keen on the jeans though for spring, they look more like winter wear really.
