Hey all! It's been a busy time in Christina-land, what with my promotion and all. My team has had a busy time, with our organization's board meeting coming up. I finally have some breathing space, though. Here's some recent WIW's.
This is a mix of work and weekend looks. Rather than comment on each one individually, I'll make some global observations:
1. Our weather has been swinging between rainy and not, and highs 55-75 degrees F
2. My hip is improving again, finally, after I started a regimen on strength training (different from the PT-prescribed exercises I was doing before, more intense). The day I walk with no discernable pain whatsoever is finally in sight.
3. That said, I still have focused on finding shoes that work for me, either in and of themselves, or sized up so I can use inserts. I've developed an outer toe bunion on one side, since I've used an insoles on my "normal" shoe size that made things too tight. So now I need to size up on closed toe shoes, and in some cases put in a heel grip on the back of the shoe so my heel doesn't slip out. The Naturalizer shoes in the Find below, once I added the insole and the heel grip, have been wonderful for walking, but I often switch to flats at the office. The Bernardo loafers are too tight with the big insole, and also too loose in the back. With a smaller insole and a heel grip, I think they will work. They have a decent lug sole, and are okay for walking outside once I use some kind of insole. The Frye boots were my fun purchase.
4. Since it's sometimes warm, boho lite is creeping back into my wardrobe.
Too many photos - apologies!
