My selfie set-up needs an overhaul but I managed to squeak out these three recent outfits photos through circumstances and technology.
1. Bat mitzvah last month that took place in a museum. Interesting concept! I wore mostly old things and one brand new thing: thrifted white blouse, second hand baggy trousers, thrifted bag, brand new Aeyde white mules bought on end of season clearance locally.
2. Total experiment - I unearthed this thrifted Balenciaga sweater vest that has been sitting in storage for at least five years and realized that it is now or never to wear it. The shoulder pads are part of the white tee, recently thrifted new with tags. Thrifted jeans looking a bit bagged out, second hand chunky boots (A.S. 98), very old second hand bag. This is why polished is not ever going to happen with me. But my two 16 year old daughters each separately told me they are going to steal this sweater, which is their ultimate compliment .
3. This is a basics with a twist sort of outfit filled with lesser known designer pieces that I found second hand: Sophie Hulme top, High by Claire Campbell jeans, Fausto Santini bag and shoes found years and miles apart. Sorry for the wonky background.
Thoughts, questions, suggestions, tangents all welcome! Thanks for looking!
