1. Target dress. Nothing spectacular but it could serve my never ending need for summer MOTG day dresses.
2-4. Caslon Sweater... the white tank wasn't such a grand idea
5-7 striped cape sweater (again, I'd probably do a black tank)
8-9 Aerosoles leopard booties. They aren't as edgy as the Matisse, but they are comfy and were half the price.

What do I keep? What needs to go back?

I like everything except the booties. There's something heavy, perhaps a bit overworked, about them and your foot looks overwhelmed.

What adorable booties! I like how they taper at the ankle--they look very chic! I'm not sold on the dress unless you change out the belt. For some reason, it doesn't look like your usual style. Perhaps it would be better with a denim vest or some kind of cropped jacket--I think it needs some edge. I love the striped sweater--that looks amazing on you. The side view makes it look like it stands away from your body but I'm guessing it's just the photo--it looks like a drapey knit. I like the brown sweater too--looks like a nice fall basic.

There's a lot that I like here, but that gray crochet dolman-sleeve sweater is my absolute favorite. That is such a good fit with your style.

Kim, how do the booties fit? I personally like them but the gap I see at the back of the ankle looks like it might extend to the footbed and makes me wonder if you need to go down a size or two.

I vote keep for both sweaters and the booties. However, the dress is just not your usual fab style, so I vote return.

Kelly- the black striped sweater is a cape type sweater actually, so yes, it is roomy all over, but I dont' feel boxy in it.
kari-- tried the booties on again, they fit well in the footbed. I wouldn't want to size down. hmm, I'll have to decide if the gap is a deal breaker. My initial thought was that I would mostly be wearing these with pants so it wouldn't show, and my heels don't slip when I walk.

Kim, if you were planning to wear the booties primarily with dresses/skirts where the gap would show, I'd be hesitant - however, with pants it would be no problem, even with skinnies where the scrunch would probably cover the gap. If they fit you feet well and you aren't slipping, I'd say keep 'em!

Love the two sweaters. Not really liking what the dress is doing to your waist. Indifferent on the shoes.

I'll most likely keep both sweaters. Whenever I wait until I really need warm sweaters, I end up with frumpy, unflattering sweaters. I really want to get my sweater collection up to par.

For those who aren't fans of the booties, care to elaborate? If I don't hear your objections and I decide to keep them, I'm always going to be self-conscious wondering what people are thinking

Love the sweaters, but the dress and the booties aren't my favorites. Can we see the booties with pants, if that's how you plan to wear them?

In response to the request for elaboration on the booties:

I feel they look really long - something about the very low shaft combined with a very high vamp looks inelegant to my eye. Nothing to break up the long, flat oval of leopard. Pants might make the difference, however.

Okay, withou reading anyone else's response - love the sweaters (is that the crochet sweater in the new Nordstrom catalog?), okay with the booties, don't love the dress. I think it is fussy looking around the middle, although it's a great color.

I'm glad you are sending the dress back; it's not your usual fabness. I love the striped sweater. It looks fun and graceful at the same time. As for the booties, I'd love to see with pants if that's how you'll wear them. The gap is bugging me, too, but if it isn't an issue with pants on, then maybe it's not a problem.

The booties are cool but look too big for your feet. I'd love to see them with jeans.

Striped sweater is GREAT! I like the booties and can forgive the gap, personally. The dress doesn't do it for me. The light color sweater looks nice but doesn't sing to me.

I think the striped sweater is the real winner of this group. Love it on you! The booties are very cool...but they do look too big for you. Maybe it's just the angle of the pics?

Absolutely love the striped cape sweater, so flattering and chic! I want one!!! Going to be the odd ball here, but I'm not loving the gray sweater, it looked fine until I saw the front view and and the wide band across the tummy in front didn't seem very flattering.

I thought the dress was cute and the booties seemed much like the others.

I agree with the crowd...both sweaters are cute and keepers. The dress is....well, I think you could do better. Not sure I have an opinion on the booties. They do seems a little "heavy" like Dresslover said. The print is pretty strong and they have such a high vamp...not sure they're as flattering as some others out there.

I absolutely love the striped sweater on you! The dress and other top are not quite as fab IMHO. The booties are cute, but they do somehow look big.

Carole, I think IRL the sweater doesn't look quite as tummy puffing as the pic appears, but I'll need to try it with a brown or purple cami (the sweater is actually a muted heather purpleish color)

Both sweaters are from Nordstrom.. and on sale... gosh, I can't find the Caslon one. It went down to $14 yesterday so it must have gotten sold out.

LOVE love love the cape striped sweater! I'm not an expert on boot gape but these shoes do gape enough to look a tad too big overall. But they are definitely yummilicious!

My friend bought that Target dress and I love how gorgeous the color looks IRL. For the clearance price now, it is a great summer basic buy. The other sweater top is sweet too. I just think the smoothing out the wrinkle on the tummywill eliminate any indications of tummy poofiness .

I'm going with the crowd too! The caped striped sweater is awesome -- love the drape. The booties are cute, but I'm also not sure what to make of the gap. If you plan on wearing just with pants it might be ok. Look forward to seeing pics!

Kim, I got my booties today. They have a slight gap too, and I think it's because of that little v in the front which gives extra ankle room. That didn't bother me, and they were comfy, but I'm sending them back because the two shoes look mismatched! One has a very dark large spots - the other is much smaller and more faded looking. It sounds stupid, but once I noticed it, I knew it would drive me mad. It's like they came from two different lots. I'm wondering if I should exchange or just forget it. How are yours in that regard?
