I like the striped sweater. The rest I am not sold on. They are just not up to your usual fab style.

First of all - you are so cute!

Haven't read anyone else's responses yet - but, I LOVE the striped top - my favorite of the lot! The brownish, taupish color top, I don't think is flattering to your skin-tone. The dress is a great color on you - but the style seems kind of "busy" to me. I love the booties. There looks as though there is a slight gap in the back - do you see that? I think these would look fantastic with jeans and pants!

I love the striped sweater! Love! I would love the other sweater if it were in a different color, but like it is I'd give it a 7. Ambivalent about the dress and I think the booties look a bit big with that gap (seems like since they are so low-cut that they should hug the ankle, and these don't--but totally moot if you are planning to wear them with pants exclusively?).

QM, this is my honest of honest opinion about the booties.

They look ill-fitted on your delicate ankle. In fact, they just look too big all over. The round platybus frontal shape doesn't help either. The toe box portion seems to be hesitating between a moccasin and a slipper. The over all motif, too contrasted, too obvious, just screams fashion victim. There is nothing I can forgive about this crime.

You have amazing legs, and equally amazing style sense. The sweaters you picked are adorable and make you look even more beautiful and hip, each in their own way. The striped one has a little "rebel" and artsy side to it without overly doing so. The other one makes you very sexy, because you look cozy, comfortable yet feminine in it and the color is soft.

The above comment about the booties is meant as constructive. It's only my opinion.

I realize Angie has leopard booties but hers do come up higher above the ankle, making them truly a boot more than a shoe; then the pattern on them is more blurred, and not as "in your face". It's precisely this subtlety that make them chic.

Cheers

Am I late for the ball?
Dress doesn't do anything for you, KIm-please return. (Summer is over so don't need that now, anyway.:-))
Chuncky sweatter will be fab with contrasting turtlenecks, or long sleeve tops and blouses. I actually don't mind the white under it, but needs a long sleeve in my opinion.
I don't get the point with the striped one's open sides(but i like the stripes on you)-and the black tank will surely help. This is a fashion foreward item I might have to adjust my eyes to.(a cape?)
I too, have one knitted cape, but that is an outerwear(chunkier and so much longer than yours), and wear it with a belt.
The booties-am controversial. Need to see it styled in a photo from head to toe. than only can have any opinion,
Thanx for considerring.

Thanks for the input so far, and a special shout out thank you to Khrihsindoux for blunt honesty. I wish there was a "honesty" appreciation button. THat is exactly why I come here...
I gotta run but I'll try to post pics later of the booties with pants. I did try it last night and I have to say that dark denim against the leopard print was quite eye catching to me. But I want to hear what you all think....

Am I too late? I'm not a fan of the dress, it looks baggy, is it the correct size? Nice color on you though. The crochet top is neat, but I'd prefer a different color on you. I really like the striped top and the animal print booties. Those two items get my keep vote.

I like both sweaters (LOVE the striped one!), not crazy about the dress (looks bulky) and not crazy about the boots. The gap around the ankle looks large to me which I wouldn't mind as much IF the heel were a bit more delicate; to me seeing the gap+chunkier heel just looks too.. clunky. However, this is based on looking at JUST the boots on your foot. Is it possible to get a full shot? It could look quite different in the context of your whole self

I'll get a full outfit shot with the booties early next week... decided at the last minute to fly to LA tomorrow to surprise my mom for her 70th. Now I gotta figure out what to pack!

Lisa, I do think I could have sized down in the dress, but I went with that size for the length in the torso. Oh well, it will go back as soon as I get the chance.

I'm pondering dying that crochet sweater a nice pretty red..... anyone have experience dying sweaters?

(Yay how fun and sweet of you! Packing is always a good challenge ^^)
