Here are a couple of my outfits from this week. The first three are work ones and all have very different vibe to them - the first one is a bit more dressed up for a presentation, the second was for uber-casual day in the lab involving lots of packing, and the third one is a literal interpretation of Angie's colored jeans formula: with grey/white striped top, grey leather jacket, grey shoes and a cream bag. The fourth outfit for a date night is my old trusty DVF wrap navy dress, updated for the season with green accessories.

About red jeans in #3: these are my only colored jeans, which have been sitting in my closet for about half a year as they need hemming and I never got around to doing it. I even wore them here folded and un-hemmed, but that was a pain! So, does one hem colored jeans with original hem or not? I know that blue denim jeans need it, while white don't, as they are made of uniform twill. Also, I am kind of stumped at the length at which to hem them. The jeans are "skinny bootcut" jeans, and they are basically skinny with slight flare at the bottom that has to be stretched to go over heels. I am thinking to hem them as if they were regular bootcuts, but not certain. I have included a link with stock photos if that helps. http://www.richandskinnyjeans....../1292.html
