A couple of weekend WIW

Here are a couple of outfits from this past weekend (didn't manage to photograph them all). #1/2 is a date night out, #3 for a day date and #4 for casual running around the town. I love the floral dress in #3, have had it for a couple of years and it is very comfortable as it is made of silk/cotton blend and lined in same. I was wondering if it might look more modern if I removed the little cap sleeves and/or the collar?

#1: Blue top -VS, black coated skinnies - 7FAMK, black blazer - Express, black peep-toe booties - Ugg, blue snake skin cross-body bag - NY&Co
#2: Floral dress - VS, tan sandals - Clarks, white/tan bag - Rafe for Target
#3: Grey-ish cowl neck top - Bebe, black silk cargo clams - NY&Co,pewter gladiator sandals - Clarks

These all work well for you. I especially like the dress - I'm a sucker for that silhouette and you wear it so well. I can also see it with no sleeves looking nice and summery.

Love all of these. The dress is divine! What a fab silhouette on you. Love how the gladiators add some edge to the outfit in 2. #3 is a great casual look--I would totally wear that. You look amazing as always, Tanya!

#2 is a great dress and I really like the vibe of #3! I've always wondered how durable silk cargos really are . . . they sound so fragile.

Wow - you looked fantastic in all three outfits. Bet the date was impressed!
The dress is very nice fit on you - if you are bored with it, you could have the cap sleeve removed. Did you try to tuck it under to see what you might like better? It's not a dress that needs an update but sometimes if we get bored with something, it's good to keep it fresh.

Thank you very much ladies! Next time I take the dress to the dry cleaner I will see to removing the sleeves.

Mo, these silk cargos have been surprisingly durable for me. I believe that this will be their fourth summer. I have only dry cleaned them, maybe that helps.
