A couple of going out WIWs - YouLookFab Forum

Here are the outfits I wore for various fun activities with BF this weekend. #1/2 was for a little evening fashion show in a lounge/club, and #3 for a ballroom dancing social. #4 was for an afternoon movie - we finally went to see "Coriolanus" after planning on doing so forever. I followed Angie's formula of "musical top+jeans" for casual outing, and this is the fifth version out of her 5 options. BF really liked this outfit, and here is the whole funny little conversation we had:

Him: " Wow, you are really dressed up for a casual movie!"
Me: "What do you mean I am really dressed up?!? I am wearing faded jeans!"
Him: " I guess you are. I just wanted to say you look really nice. There is something about that blouse with that vest..."

You look great in both dresses and I love the lace dress with the leather jacket. The vest/blouse outfit is outstanding - BF is totally right!

All stunning Tanya! I love the lace and leather going out outfit. And the dress in #3 is so feminine, just lovely. In #4, you have come up with a casual yet polished combination that shows off your killer figure, I'm not surprised bf was appreciative.

That dress is fitting like a glove and with the jacket and little bag - so on target.
Lol at BF reaction - he caught himself and got that "you look nice" perfect for the save! You do look nice - great execution of the "formula".

Gorgeous! I absolutely adore your dancing social outfit! What type of dancing?

DH and I just completed Swing dance lessons. We had so much fun and plan to keep taking more lessons. The dance social we attended was so impressive. Many talented dancers, I had no idea!

Carole, I do ballroom dancing, both standard and latin dances. It consumes a lot of my free time: group lessons, private lessons, practices, competitions, but I wouldn't change it for anything in the world. It's lots of fun and keeps me in shape ( I hate gym and running). Here in DC area there are dance socials pretty often and I try to attend them at least once a month. BF also used to be very into ballroom dancing, but he stopped competing a couple of years ago - now he only does it socially.

You look so fabulous in each of these! I love how they are all so different, but all work so well! The lace dress with the jacket is very cool; the dancing dress is classic Tanya, and the movie look is wonderful. Pattern mixing FTW! You look great, and your BF is too cute.
