My WIW for the week--- the top is new, from Madewell. The courier shirt, but sized-down this time. I love the buffalo plaid and striped contrast sleeves. It is worn with old bootcuts. I will probably wear it with slouchy skinnies or straight leg jeans in the future, but wanted to be extra comfortable today.
Also included is a close-up of the haircut-- finally got it cut on Friday. Much more flattering for my hair type and face at this length. Looks a little flat today, I think because the SO's water is softer than mine so my normal hair products (shampoo and conditioner) are a bit overkill.
The close-up really reminds me of how much I look like my paternal grandmother-- I have my mom's coloring and mouth, but I really look like my dad's mom. The shirt is also a bit of a fun nod to her. Almost every great picture I have of her in the 70s is of her wearing a men's flannel shirt with great jeans and some sort of headscarf. She shared Angie's mother's birthday, so we always celebrated together until she passed due to cancer in late 2012.
