I have been really down, lonely and worried. Haven’t seen my grandkids, kids or mother in law for weeks. I’m not great at phone talking, and I’m sure
that doesn’t help. Tuesday I got my hair cut, last done in mid February. I’m pretty thankful I’ve never colored my hair. But I’m not as excited about thinking I (might) look better- I feel more that I’m not so “stuck”. I have been busy sewing masks and other small projects, making collages, cooking, talking to mother-in-law every day, and continue to run and walk a lot. But still tough.

Today I came to this item in my list of oldies to accomplish. I made this dress today, from an old pattern and rayon fabric I’ve had for years- always meant to make a dress with it, but finally opted for super simple. Just facings and darts, no zipper, blind hem machine stitch. I’m impressed that it fits so well, but I attribute that to the age of the pattern, as they don’t fit as well nowadays In my experience. Wearing with a necklace I got on clearance somewhere around Christmas. I think I’ll wear this to my niece’s zoom wedding in a couple of weeks. I kind of love it.
