9th week blahs - YouLookFab Forum

I tried. I couldn't get past Day 54. I think I posted every day beginning with the first stay home order for us, March 17. Mother's day was a bit of a downer for me, and now the weather has turned cloudy and chilly again.

Weird Nordstrom delivery. Notice of delivery on Saturday, but wasn't here. Wrong address? (Nothing in mail box or Ring Camera.) Monday after UPS stopped in front I found the Saturday item in my mailbox. But I had another notice for yesterday, different item, nope, didn't show up. I assume it may come today. Long wait times on Nordstrom Chat--by the time they answered me I had left my computer.

I did get a surprise delivery from Unicef thanking us for a donation and asking for more. These socks!

#3, Sunday I wore my fancy-schmancy diamond earrings, seldom worn now--never go out. Also new white BR wide leg pants with a Boden sweater. They were tight in the waist and the sweater a bit thick, so semi-tuck didn't work well. BR denim pants usually stretch way out for me in the waistline. I think these will too.

#4, Yesterday my hair was ridiculously stringy, so I tucked it behind my ears. 80s gold earrings, 2 yr old Boden cotton jacket seemed a bit snug, red tee and jeans.

#5, Today wearing black NYDJ ponte pants and J Crew roll neck top. I haven't gone for a walk in a week and I need to get out. I'm going to make an effort

Last, I saw this Laura Mercier lip balm praised--can't remember where or when--and this is what came yesterday. Nordstrom cosmetics brands are on sale. It seems pretty nice, and so far I'm not having much luck with dry, cracked lips. I hope this helps. Nars Afterglow Lip Balm.

Pretty earrings! I love outfit #4 - bright and joyful. Hair looks nice both ways - behind the ears works very well with gold earrings.

Ooh, you are a trooper. Love the white jeans with the pale sweater and the cute printed blazer. So fab! This weather is hard to predict--we've gone from the high 80s back to cold and dreary in the course of the week! It's kind of nice because it did get a little toasty...

Kelly, yes, I had a pretty good walk--walked beyond my usual trek into a less familiar area. The roses are fabulous right now, especially the white ones, which are probably the iceberg variety we have. I have become even more sensitive to the pollen this spring.

I like the white with the pale as well--never would have imagined I would.

Slim cat, hair is almost to shoulders. I'm going to have to work on new hair styles. I haven't had longer hair in ages--maybe decades.

As a fashion professional looking at her client - I say you have! Excellent nonchalance and polish.
