The crochet is retro, but the dreamy palette is totally 2022.
*What you do with clothes, I do with books. There is a great second hand bookstore in town. I buy used books, and I drop off used books. I get a small credit when I drop some off, but then spend my credit and a couple of dollars to buy new ones. Sometimes I keep a book, and other times I pass it on. It becomes quite circular, and the small amount of money I spend (and my book donations) help keep the business going.
In some ways, you are ‘renting’ the clothes you buy from the thrift shop, but with the option to keep great scores, or return items that don’t have longevity for you - without the deadline that rented items might have. I think it’s a brilliant way to experiment with fashion and an equally brilliant way to scratch an itch for variety whilst remaining within a budget and practicing ethical shopping.
