Just a disclaimer for those with poison eyes to maxis - this post has one.:)
Last summer I searched high and low for a black maxi dress, but never found the perfect one. Fast forward to late winter/early spring this year - I decided that while I loved my current maxis, I wasn't going to get any more. And then I went shopping. I was in Ann Taylor Loft during one of their 40% everything sales and sat this black maxi. I figured I'd try it on just for fun. And it fit perfectly. I couldn't get the detail in my pic, but it has pleats on the top left neckline and has a blouse-y top. I hope that makes sense. And everytime I've worn it so far, it's upped my happiness factor. now if I could just find the perfect yellow cardigan to wear with it.

The only place I can find these shoes in blue is at Clarks. If you have high arched, semi-narrow feet, give this pair a try. They've stayed on my feet remarkably well. And the find below is the same style cardigan, just not the same color.
