As expected, I'm spending the whole weekend in dance gear and loungewear, so my 30 items got a respite (and I had a chance to do laundry).
Dianna, Style Fan, Laura G, shevia, thank you!
Joy, I'm (finally) learning that simple pieces with unusual details (like that draped top) are my favorites. It does take a little more hunting or luck to find those things, though! I've had some luck with Elizabeth & Clarke's subscription shirt service for subtly interesting tops (that's where I got both the navy and light blue tops from this week); some of their pieces are flops for me, but they hit it out of the park often enough that I'm willing to stick with them for now.
Brooklyn, I remembered to grab that bracelet when I set up to take a picture and realized my arms were all bare again. I did have to switch wrists mid-morning, though... stiff bracelets on my right wrist clang against the desk too much when I'm using a mouse. Lesson learned. The scarf was a gift from my mom, who has fabulous artistic taste; I don't think it's a Missoni, but it does look like it could be, doesn't it?
skylurker, good eye! That skull is my most patient model when I'm playing with photographic lighting setups.
smittie, I'll keep patching that jacket as long as I possibly can. It was a hasty emergency Walmart purchase in Hawaii after all my luggage was stolen in a break-in, and Walmart and Old Navy were the only affordable clothing shops in reach. I'm not terribly sentimental about clothes, but I'm fond of this piece for the story and memories and will be sorry to see it go someday.
