Thank you, Toban! The Old Navy velvet tee shirt is fast becoming a favorite. It looks so dressy and yet is nothing more than a tee shirt.
I'm a big fan of repeating outfits .... especially if there was a high happiness factor. I now wear my clothing multiple days before washing them. There was time in my life when I laundered every item after a single wearing! I just thought that was the way people did things. I had to be instructed that it was ok to wear it a second, or even third, time.
Angie -- I am exploring new color palettes for 2018. I have always loved black and white with pops of red or fuchsia. I have slowly gravitated to adding in navy (lots of navy). Evidently my Winter wardrobe still has a lot of grey from previous years. I like the grey during the Winter. It suits my mood.
Windchime -- I am sufficiently warm in short sleeved tops during the Winter months because they overheat the office. I bring the toppers (in my case, cardigans) to remove or add as needed. I wear long sleeves at home where I have more control over the temperature setting.
Thank you, Style Fan, Katerina, and MaineLady. I have a lot of really nice jewelry. I am trying to make myself wear more of it during this challenge.
Hi Brooklyn -- I remember that you are still on Holiday. Please jump in at your convenience. I very much look forward to seeing the Summer Capsules you develop because I know it will be gorgeous.
You know, I've been wondering why that grey cardigan is included in this Challenge. I think I was wanting to give it a chance to prove me wrong. That if it was part of a limited number of clothing items, I would reach for it more and make it work!! Perhaps you are right though. I have other clothing that have a higher happiness factor and maybe a substitution makes sense. So that would be Lesson Number One. Dump items that don't work for you.
