I have turned 60 this month ( actually during one of my city’s snap lockdowns as we had a small Covid incursion into the community from our border hotels) and the first part of my celebrations, a women’s afternoon cocktail party including watching the Miss Fisher movie and dressing up, had to be cancelled. But luckily my dinner at a private dining room in a central city Art Deco hotel was back in a freer time as it was booked for 2 weeks later. So we still dressed up and so did many of the rest of the 23 people who attended.
I include some pics of the hotel for those of you who also enjoy that era.
And then I modernised the same dress with pants for a farewell lunch for someone at my previous part-time job (I resigned last year) on Thursday.
24 wears for the dress/tunic so far for both Deco dress-ups and normal wear.
