2 WIWs - I wore a jacket!

Ok, full disclosure - these outfits all have cropped pants. Feel free to just address the top half of the outfits.

1 & 2 I wore on a Sunday. I wore the jacket to dress it up for church, and removed it to go the aquarium right after. The pants that originally came with the jacket were purged (too short and too small) but I think it works with these pants. What do you think of the suit look with cropped pants (assuming you like cropped pants)?

3 - a new top I fell in LOVE with. If I find some great striped fabric, I may try to make another. These are my least flattering cropped pants, I know. I really need to just get rid of them so I'll stop being tempe to wear them.

1&2 - H&M jacket, J Crew crops, Banana Republic blouse, old J Crew shoes, coral necklace from MIL

3 - chevron top from local store, old old old Old Navy crops, brown sandals (barely a step up from flip flops, I know) that my son gave me for Mother's Day- so they're my new favorite shoes, of course. Brown African necklace from a local fair trade shop near my parents - one of my new fave shops.

I honestly think you look great in all of these! I don't think you have to worry about leg shortening since you are tall and slim (or at least you "look" tall), so the cropped pants totally work for my eye.

#1 does not look like a suit to me but has a "resort" vibe to it, with the bright shoes especially. Both of your sleeveless tops look great, too.

Jenny Anne: You look terrific in white! I actually read #1 as a "suit," but a fun and relaxed one! I think the crops work for you, but I'd like to maybe see them a little more tapered, perhaps? Check out Jonesy;s last post of her cobalt pants.

These tops are top-notch -- love the green one, especially. And yes, your new sandals are casual, but they're perfect for Florida, and come from love!

Thanks, Makrame and Beth Ann. I know in theory that tapered crops are more leg-lenthening, but I'm afraid of showcasing my hips too much... irrational considering my love of my tight whtie jeans.
