Scrolling my Pinterest board for inspiration, I was struck to find 2 of my style icons wearing the same outfit --one I could easily duplicate from my own wardrobe. So that's just what I did.
My first pic shows the slip-on sneakers, and my hair side-parted à la Bacall. My second shows the leather sneakers I wore to work, and my hair back in a ponytail in a futile attempt to channel Grace's polish. The equestrian neck scarf wasn't in the inspo pics but I think it is in character.
In pic 3 I wore this nautical cardi for the cool of the morning. I have neither dog nor bicycle, but my silly pose attempts to echo their movement.
I had fun. Nobody said a word. I suspect my style (especially in summer) is way more classic than I've been admitting.
