1) Usually when I pack for a trip, I err on practicality and always end up feeling frumpy and unexcited with what I brought. This time I decided that on traveling days, I would wear something fun and slightly dressy, since all I'd be doing is sitting most of the day anyways. That way I could travel in style.
2) A pretty patch of highway.
3) Since eldest DS gets carsick easily, we had him sit in the front and help navigate. Turns out he's a good map reader and this is great practice for when he starts driver's ed in the fall.
