Oh wait, I am not done! The baby was crying and then I fell asleep. Here I am again. Here is outfit set #3, with the red snakeskin blouse. I wore #1 yesterday for MOTG with the ripped jeans and Frye boots. I know this is cheating as the boots don't fit in a purse, but it looked better with the outfit (I could have done red Cons, but I preferred the toughness of the black boots). For work I could wear it with a leather jacket and skinny pants. I faux-cropped the pants so I could show off my new pair of shoes...black Ollies! AAAAHHH!!! Don't you just love them? My Okalas are so comfy (for heels) that I decided to spring for this pair--I think the black studded heels will be perfect for my edgier shadow persona. I paired them with the leather pencil skirt for evening--do you think DH would approve?

The Shirt red snakeskin blouse

Vigoss skinny jeans, Gap Real Skinny pants, Halogen leather pencil skirt

Michael Kors black studded satchel

Spiegel leather jacket

F21 bracelet, Spring street bracelet

Frye Melissa boots, Sam Edelman Ollie pumps

Wow! Those shoes! Insanely fab. Love this set too. You're amazing, Natalie!

You are a STAR Natalie! You rose to Carter's challenge brilliantly - and it wasn't an easy one.

I'm totally crushing on those Sam Edelman Ollie pumps - are they comfy?

Last one, bonus outfit set (since a lot of the items were similar in outfit sets #2 and #3, I wanted to try one more item). Trying out some outfits with my H&M floral pants. These are a little experimental. I'm not sure if they work. I'm finding that my tastes are running less maximal lately--a lot of the outfits I tried were too busy for me. I guess I'm still fairly ALGO, but just Not Quite As Much Going On. Do you think these outfits are OK for public consumption? Or should I try to streamline some more?

The first one is a copy of Neel's "goldenpig" outfit:

This would be for MOTG.
The second one is for work. I could take off the white moto and just have the black blouse if it's TMGO.
Third one is strictly for mom's night out. DH would have a fit of apoplexy if I wore these pants on a date!

H&M floral pants
Dorothy Perkins white moto jacket and Theory black leather trim blazer
H&M blue and white striped tee, Pleione black shirt, Tory Burch beetle print blouse
Brahmin striped satchel, Kate Spade turquoise clutch, Michael Kors studded black satchel (to match the pumps)
Tory Burch turquoise ballet flats, Kate Spade turquoise pumps, Sam Edelman Ollie black studded heels
Alexis Bittar dragonfly necklace

WOW. Just ... WOW. Homerun!

Oh my goodness, I LOVE those Ollies on you!

Sorry, I got sidetracked by those fabulous shoes. Back to the challenge:
You are amazing, Natalie!
First of all all three of these are so well thought out, coordinated, and fab!
How you found time to put all this together with your busy, busy life is mind-boggling. Do you ever sleep?

I love the first outfit, and it looks super in all its iterations. I especially love the MOTG version, but that one has the advantage of your three adorable little "accessories"!

The second outfit is a little harder to see the details of- it's always hard to photograph black, but I do love that tube skirt, and you've switched it up nicely.

Then back to those Ollies- did I mention that those are FABULOUS on you? All 3 of the outfits are great. I think your "shadow persona" works the best when it's not all black, but combined with some color like this. Your going out outfit is edgy urban cool, but still looks like Natalie to me.
Well done!

ETA: I cross-posted with the bonus outfits!

The simplest one with the black top, white jacket, and turquoise accessories is absolutely fabulous!

You truly truly hit the ball out of the park on this one Goldenpig. Well done. And well done for Carter... perfect challenge question!

Thank you so much April for organizing the challenges and Carter for a fun challenge! It was really useful to think about how to transition pieces from work to casual to glam. I think I may try to plan ahead more and keep a pair of sneakers in the car, so that I'm not stuck at the park in heels after work, LOL!

Thanks everyone for your comments! Hope it was wort the wait.

Rabbit and Caro, I'm sorry I didn't manage to use my Longchamp tote for this challenge (Carter, I only have one). Sometimes I do feel like I need Mary Poppin's or Hermione's bag! You should have seen how many bags I was carrying on Sunday, including a diaper bag, swim bag with all the towels and gear, grocery bag filed with snacks and drinks, and another bag with all the library books (the whole stack of books in the picture). Plus the baby in a carrier and the two kids in each hand.

Neel, hope you like my copy of your copy of me! And Karie, I remember I did a copy of you with your maxi skirt and wedge sneakers, so it would be fun for you to do another version with your tube skirt and sneakers!

Shannon, yes, the Ollies are very comfy for heels. I mean, they're not as comfy as sneakers or flats, but they are more comfy than you would expect for the heel height. Angie was right. In fact I was wearing the Kate Spade silver pumps (which are a similar heel height) when I went to try them on, and I could tell they were more comfortable than the Kate Spades. I am actually thinking about ordering a pair of the Okalas in leopard (three pairs of the same type of shoe isn't too much, right?) and purging the other pair of leopard heels I have which are pretty high. I'm trying to stick with more mid-heels and lower (except for my dragonfly pair!)

Parsley, thanks for your comments too (and no, I only sleep by accident!). I could totally see you wearing the Ollies if you don't already have a pair! And waving to April my bag twin and Suz my scarf twin!

I can't wait to challenge kkards! (Rubbing hands gleefully...)

Wow. This is over the top awesome! I love seeing all of your fab outfits in the real world. It's also nice to see your adorable children. Just reading everything you pack into a day makes me tired. And you manage to look amazing while doing it all. That $20 dress was a wonderful find, as are the Okalas.

You are the most stylish MOTG I have ever seen! My favorites are the last two sets but they are all amazing!!

Natalie, it looks like you had so much fun with your challenge. You did a great job and I love all versions. You are so good at this!

oh my goodness, do you do anything half way?
great challenge, and great outfits!

I love that you road-tested, Natalie! And the peak into the packed handbags (amazing!).

Oh... and I am so doing my copycat H&M floral pants with teal shoes just like you. My teal shoes... I got them pretty much only because of my current foot problem (a pair in teal, a pair in black). They've been stumping me on the fashion front, though.

...I have a feeling I'm actually going to miss these shoes when they're all done, even tho it wasn't love at first sight.

Amazing challenge and outfits.

I am so enjoying reading and viewing these challenges.

goldenpig, you have loads of style. Such great sets, I can't pick a favorite. The shoes are do die for and I think the floral pants are awesome. Wonderful job.

In AWE of you., Natalie As always. I can't even begin to pick favourites and they are that awesome. Plus, you look awesome. Svelte and fresh-faced... are you sure you haven't a Tardis in your capacious closet to help with the sleep?

And may I say how completely OTT brilliant it is to see the matchy-matchy junior fashions with your first set! Heh, especially Baby GP being worn in the perfect blue too. And his bih brother in the same colours but distinctly more mature version while your DD takes her mum's look and interprers in her own colours. Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! (Hat tip to Caro. Do yours enjoy Mary Poppins, Natalie? Or is it too retro-passe?)

Carter: AWESOME conceptualisation for this challenge

Well these are all completely stunning on you, great job!!!

Great juggling as well as an eye for how to tweak an outfit for different purposes. Also it speaks to buying interesting fabulous matchy items because they can carry the weight of a simple outfit, or work together if you decide to accessorize more.

Fun to see how you can remix your looks for work and then play, nice job!

Oh Gosh! It was a great enterntainment for me even only to see the picties, now I can't wait to catch up on the descriptions and the comments, but wanted to say(again!) that you have a great style, and a really crazy life GP:-)) so you have no choice but living the life of a wonderwoman!

My fave is that dress from the first series, that is really a jolly jocker!!!).

I'm speechless! You're the ultimate working MOTG transformer fashion guru! Just awesome!!

You should come and play in my closet and create some new outfits for me

And kiddos are just adorable! They have all grown so much.

OK -- I missed this in my mid-week busyness, but I wanted to stop to applaud your ingenuity and fabness. Your creativity shines in these combinations and I know how quickly you needed to work to still go about your daily activities.

I think the first combo is my absolute fabe, although I was ogling the Ollies!

P.S. The schlepping diminishes as children get bigger. I just made a train trip with my DS and realized that he carries all his own stuff now, even snacks are divided up. Of course, he's just turned 12! Hee! And he still forgot underwear until I reminded him, to his great consternation!

I am coming in late to the party... But I just wanted to say that I so enjoyed all of the detail and creativity in every outfit. You styled the pieces so differently for the various looks, which was wonderful. It. Is so hard to pick favorites,,,, But I have to say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE the dragonfly shoes and cuff!!

Awesome challenge, Carter!

Amazing response, Natalie! These pics are such a treat. I envy your collection of fab accessories. So many looks here to love, but if I must pick a favorite then it's the first set of outfits. And I love that you put these transitional outfits through the paces for real.
