Thank you so much April for organizing the challenges and Carter for a fun challenge! It was really useful to think about how to transition pieces from work to casual to glam. I think I may try to plan ahead more and keep a pair of sneakers in the car, so that I'm not stuck at the park in heels after work, LOL!
Thanks everyone for your comments! Hope it was wort the wait.
Rabbit and Caro, I'm sorry I didn't manage to use my Longchamp tote for this challenge (Carter, I only have one). Sometimes I do feel like I need Mary Poppin's or Hermione's bag! You should have seen how many bags I was carrying on Sunday, including a diaper bag, swim bag with all the towels and gear, grocery bag filed with snacks and drinks, and another bag with all the library books (the whole stack of books in the picture). Plus the baby in a carrier and the two kids in each hand.
Neel, hope you like my copy of your copy of me! And Karie, I remember I did a copy of you with your maxi skirt and wedge sneakers, so it would be fun for you to do another version with your tube skirt and sneakers!
Shannon, yes, the Ollies are very comfy for heels. I mean, they're not as comfy as sneakers or flats, but they are more comfy than you would expect for the heel height. Angie was right. In fact I was wearing the Kate Spade silver pumps (which are a similar heel height) when I went to try them on, and I could tell they were more comfortable than the Kate Spades. I am actually thinking about ordering a pair of the Okalas in leopard (three pairs of the same type of shoe isn't too much, right?) and purging the other pair of leopard heels I have which are pretty high. I'm trying to stick with more mid-heels and lower (except for my dragonfly pair!)
Parsley, thanks for your comments too (and no, I only sleep by accident!). I could totally see you wearing the Ollies if you don't already have a pair! And waving to April my bag twin and Suz my scarf twin!
I can't wait to challenge kkards! (Rubbing hands gleefully...)
