Hi,

Here is a weeks worth of outfits. I was really pushing my comfort zone this past week, there were multiple days of no blues, no jeans, and new silhouettes for me (especially #1 and #5).

#1/#2-ASOS Butterfly Top and Colors I Never Wear
I've never ordered from ASOS before. Then crazyone posted this fabulous butterfly top here and I liked it. An extra nudge from Angie, and now it's mine too. Thanks crazyone for your post and Angie for the nudge! I included a side view to show the back hemline. As an aside, I've never worn these colors before, and look, no blues!

#3-Black Dress
Another no blue day and I remembered to include my handbag. This was the first time I tried a necklace peeking out from the collar, and people still noticed it! I never would have thought of doing this before YLF. I always thought you had to wear the necklace on the outside of a shirt.

#4-Black and White
This outfit was my current Nordstrom sale purchase. (The top and cardigan) I wore this outfit the next day, I was very excited about it. This was the first time I purchased an outfit and wore it immediately. I have a poor habit to "save" new clothes. A similar version of this PB top is in the YLF store. And yes, I thought of Angie all day wearing this.

#5-Polka Dots and a New Silhouette
I just fell in love with Angie's outfit here. I really liked the skirt. Then Aida posted a similar twist on the skirt and I decided to give this look a try. Does this flare work for me? It has bare arms, so a cardigan is required for work.

#6-Hinge Peacock Blouse Tucked
I had Kari's recent 70s outfits in my head and since I was in an experimental mood this week, I tried tucking my Hinge peacock blouse. I don't usually tuck, did this work? Another aside, the belt I purchased to wear higher on my waist, it was a bit tight placed this low on my hips so I was a bit fidgety this day.

#7-Polka Dots and Swap Necklace
This was the first outing of my swap necklace. I wrapped it twice to shorten it since the longer length was competing with the belt. This trick I've been doing more and more lately to get extra life out of my necklaces. Thanks again to Bella for the necklace!
