WIW to a gig...new haircut too :)

I went to see Andy Mckee play last night (this awesome acoustic guitarist) with my BF and some friends.

Sydney has had a bit of a cold snap lately so I took advantage of it to sneak in another boot outfit before it gets too warm.

I also had my hair cut a couple of weeks ago It's SO much easier- I'm loving it!

Adorable! I am new here so I am not familiar with your previous hair style but this is truly lovely and it perfectly "suits" your face and style.

Megan, your hair is lovely! What a great way to wear that Chanel-esque jacket! I have one just like it from NAS and also wore it today....with black straight dress pants, white shirt with French cuffs folder back over the jacket sleeves, collar popped, and lots of silver chains. Your styling looks much more modern.

Joy- that sounds like a gorgeous way to wear the jacket! I'm always surprised at how warm it is! Black straight/skinny pants are a wardrobe gap for me- I'm searching for the right pair

Thank you all for such lovely compliments I am absolutely loving the short hair, it's SO much less maintenance.

Isabella- I did dye my hair- thanks for noticing! It's darker than in my last WIW picture.

Srujana- the BF is THRILLED that you noticed the colour of our walls- he painted the bedroom only about 2 weeks ago and is quite pleased with his colour scheme and painting efforts

Oops- forgot to answer your question about the tunic Sveta- sorry!!

It's a really cheap one from a teeny bopper store called Ice and it has little cap sleeves- I'm wearing a S and it's ALMOST too short.

I'm also way jealous of your wall color, it's completely spectacular! Rather than paint our current place (we're renting and don't know how long we'll be in this house), we have lots and lots of blue furniture, bedding, and stuff. And black and white photos on the walls. It's kinda like the reverse of your place!

Thanks so much everyone I was feeling very unfab on Tuesday during the day so wanted to wear something to give me a boost- I'm glad you all approve!

My boyfriend is a vision scientist who studies how people perceive colour (and light/dark) so he OBSESSED over what colours to paint the house. Our living room is the same deep red (Angie's coat?) that is around each YLF page towards the bottom, the kitchen/dining is greeny grey and the bedroom is now teal.
