WIW & Thakoon dress--which shoe?

1.) Didn't feel like layering today. Asymmetrical neck top (Gap)
2.) Layered. My new Ikat print scarf
3.) Thakoon dress with MM boots (for AJ) I've only worn this dress with my MM black combat style boot. I can never figure out the appropriate footwear (for spring.)
4-6.) Various sandal/clogs. Which do you prefer or do you think the dress is too short for any kind of heel? Both pairs of clogs still have tags so they can still be returned.

honestly, it all looks great. love 1 and 2 and of the shoes with the dress, I really do like them all.

LOOK #4 FOR THE THAKOON DRESS! Those shoes are killer, and they balance out your dark hair and the moody colors in the dress perfectly. Grab a bright bag, or even a bright belt, and you're done. I think clogs kind of demand a short-ish hemline, too, so that outfit rocks my socks on both fronts!

Ooo, I love the scarf.

You have gorgeous legs! Enviably gorgeous legs-- I actually like the tan sandals the best because of the slightly lower vamp, but am not sure I love the color with the dress. I don't think it is too short to wear with heels at all.

Egads, that dress!! I love it so much on you! Okay, I really love the purple asymmetrical neckline top--that neckline really suits you, as does the color. Love #2 too. But the dress--I swoon/orbit/drool! I think I prefer it with the narrower belt, and especially love it with the black platform sandals. GOR-geous. Please solemnly swear that you will wear that dress at least once a month or something :).

Not much help here. I love your style and find all of the featured looks wonderful. I really cannot decide between the shoes, they all go so well. I like the boots with the dress the least.

I love it all! As far as the clogs-they all look good to me, all seem like they would be versatile...I'm loving the cognac color, just because I think it works so well with everything, but they all look great!

I am loving #1. Great color on you. Is that the plum color? Love the dress. I would pick the black clogs. You look fantastic.

You look fantastic in everything! I prefer the narrower belt with the dress, and either the red boots or black shoes...but any way, any how, any where you wear this dress, you will look great in it.

Lovely, Kelly!! Your new scarf is very pretty. For shoes, I like the red boots and light shoes the best, with the dark shoes close behind. For the brown clogs, I think you need a brown belt. The dress is definitely not too short with clogs, as Rae said, I think to keep some separation between chunky (shoe) and streamlined (killer legs).

#1 is gorgeous. Okay, for some reason my favorite with the dress is the wide belt and the red boots. I think you look great in the #3 version. With the light shoes your legs look a million miles long, but to me they just kind of fade away and aren't strong enough for the dress.

However, you can't go wrong with any of these.

Oh, Kelly! You always look so perfectly polished in all of your photos. I adore all looks. The necklace and blouse (color and fit) in pic 1 are just out of sight.

I own that Thakoon frock in the navy/white combo. I'm taking furious notes on your styling. I love all the shoes. Changes a bold dress is a great way.

Those MM Susie Spring boots....kicking my shins for missing out on them! You rock the red.

I'm relieved to know that most of these shoe options work--I'm surprised that no one had a fierce dislike of anything. Same goes with the belts--another weak area of mine. I trust you to not let me go out looking like MDL (mutton expression).

@Elly and Susan: The more I look at the sandal, I agree that the color is kind of weak with the dress. I have a similar pair of black sandals that may work better.
@Rae: Didn't think about a bright belt! Great idea.
@Cilleena: Target, baby! I saw them styled in a Target "lookbook" and thought they would be fun to try. Inexpensive way to try the clog trend.
@Jonesy: You're too funny. I've fallen off all kinds of wagons lately including dress a week. I may be able to manage this dress once a month. Thanks for the input on the belting.
@MTB: It is the plum color from the Gap. Mine is medium. The small was better around the neckline but not so kind to my muffin top.
@Aida: I know exactly which belt to try with the brown clogs--I didn't even think about changing that out. Thanks for the affirmation on length--I always worry about hemlines for some reason.

Thanks, hbaber! I want to see how you style yours. Please post pics next time you wear it. It is definitely a bold dress and I think that's why I find it so challenging.

I really love that Gap top--I've been tiring of all the layering. Sometimes it's nice to just be able to wear a top!

Kelly I like all of them. The top in #1 is a good fit and the color looks great on you. #2 So slimming and love the colors in the scarf against your face. Love the dress with all the shoes and for some reason I like the thinner belts best.
