KILLER dress.

Good grief. Need to recover. You launched me into orbit...

Thanks, Renee, Dani, Aunty and Angie!
@Renee: Another vote for the skinnier belt. Thanks!
@MaryK: I'm the laziest typist on earth--use the abbr. any time : ) U shld c my texts.
@Dani: I've seen cognac paired with so much around here--seems like it goes with everything. I would have never considered these pre-YLF. Thanks for the affirmation.
@Angie: Glad the frock meets with your approval! I would have never bought this pre-YLF so thank you for expanding my horizons!

Love it all, Kelly! You look like a doll.

Love that dress, I think I like the light shoe best.

How does the dress fit? It's one I want to try on when Target re-releases them on Sunday.

Thanks, Tracy. This is the medium and I'm 5'3". I'm usually a small or medium in Target's Merona or Mossimo line. The fabric is a substantial cotton with little or no give and I definitely needed the room in the shoulders. The fabric has a lot of body--the skirt is on the full side but belting it definitely helps rein it in. I like the self belt but can never figure out how to tie it without making a bow which looks so "twee" on me.

1) Luv that purple top on you. You have a lovely figure that doesn't need the smoke and mirrors effect of layering that I do. Hee-hee!

2) Lovely colors on your new scarf! That will look so nice against a white top in the summer.

3) Squeee! I like the red boots with the dress! However, I think the wide belt might be fighting for attention. Did you try the boots with the other belt? Or maybe a belt that has matching hardware to the boots? I'm not sure....how about the moto jacket? Might be too much, but let's humor me. : )

4) Luv it!

5) OK. I like the color but not sure about the style of the sandal...seems too casual for the dress.

6) Luv it!

Thanks, AJ! I really like it with the boots too. Honestly, I don't think I would have ever paired the two on my own. I think you're right about the wide belt. Perhaps I should reserve that one for a less bold shoe. My moto is too long for a dress but I'll keep it in mind--again, something else I wouldn't have put together. How do you do it, AJ? Such a creative, fashion mind!

I think you're right on about the sandal. I thought the color was weak but perhaps they are too casual. Thanks for all of the great feedback!

Hi Kelly, I prefer the dress with the light colored sandals the best. I have been looking for a pair like that myself, that is such a versatile color for spring/summer. But honestly all of the shoes work. The red shoes give the dress a very different vibe; I could see a leather moto jacket or other ways to toughen up the look working well w/ these funky shoes/booties.

I love the way you look in #2. I just love neutrals like black and brown with a flash of color thrown in via accessories. (Making mental note of that color combo!)

#1 looks layered to me, since there is a necklace. #2, that scarf is a perfect pop of color in this outfit. The dress, great dress, I prefer the light shoes with a light belt if you have one to tie in the shoes.
