Where was I? Oh yes… yesterday’s outfit and the title under which it was posted were a moment of inspiration. Then, one thought led to another and another idea for the series of outfits was born. Windchime asked on the previous thread whether it would be possible to dress in the shades of a pear and of course my answer is OF COURSE, one can dress in anything, inspiration is everywhere. But, this particular pear will be wearing apples of all sorts for the next few days

Joy was actually on the right track when she suggested pairing the pink sweater with my green scarf. You might remember this scarf from last year, I had this urge to buy the scarf (and scarf only) in this very shade of green, which Shannon deciphered for me as my longing for spring. Last year we’ve had what you ladies in NA experience right now, Groundhog Day sort of winter, and I had to break it somehow sartorially.

I said somewhere that I’d call this shade apple green, the reason being one other favourite apple sort in our household - Granny Smith. (Waving to E )

Since Granny is so crisp I braved the bus to town in white jeans. (enough white for you Aida :-D) I also cut off the tassels from the scarf and finally tidied it up - after this little intervention (which all my scarves are gradually getting) it feels a lot more me.

This would be Granny Smith outfit formula. Variations include similar top, white belt, white footwear… For me personally this has high happiness factor and high reusability factor, I hope you like it too.

Comments, suggestions and spanners equally welcome.
