Just returned back to Boston from a fantastic mini-vacation in SF! The weather was fantastic (I could wear a jacket! and pants! scarf! layers! oh my!) so I was inspired to take some WIW photos (also, the hotel room mirror is so much nicer (and cleaner!) than my mirror at home.

#1: worn for a day of traipsing around on some very steep hills in Noe Valley and the Mission. Anthro tunic (actually I think this is technically from the sleepwear section) over H&M puff-sleeve tee; Lucky Sweet n Low jeans, Naot sandals

#2: another day in the city, this time exploring the Sunday farmer's market at the Ferry building. This outfit is as neutral as I ever get! Army green silk blouse, Lucky Sweet n Low jeans, Boutique 9 laceless flat oxfords. I liked this outfit but it was kind of annoying because the blouse keeps wanting to ride up in front on my chest so that the neckline looks weird... I don't know how to fix this except to constantly fiddle with it.

#3: same outfit, with my red trench - this coat is rather snug on me so it has limited use since I can't put more than a thin layer under it, plus it has 3/4 sleeves. Clearly I just need to move to SF where i need a coat in the summer so it can get some love.

#4: worn for my grandma's 85th b-day party! Pattern mixing with grey/blue dress from Tulle, green/teal striped cardigan (handknit by me!) with awesome yellow buttons, boutique 9 oxfords.

#5: detail of my layered necklaces. I think the neckline on this dress is actually too high for me and accentuates my short neck but the necklaces help visually lower it a bit. A long strand of lumpy garnets and a shorter silver chain w/ sparkly pendant (my mom gave it to me the day before... we can't figure out what color the stone is. It's sometimes blue, sometimes purple, sometimes aqua.)

#6: bonus photo! The drummer from this group of musicians let this adorable little boy (and his brother) play their drum set, and then the guitarist started jamming with him. He was a born musician! Here he is adjusting his cymbals like a pro. I love his hat. =)
