After having so much fun putting together an outfit inspired by Autumn scenery in the Pink for October thread, it was only natural to keep going... So, when I took this photo last weekend I started thinking what might be done with it.

I don't have many Autumn colours in my wardrobe, but I thought I can certainly try to go for the moods. So, this is what I wore today.

Inspiration: the main one was the sky and the shape of the lonely lamp.
I have very, very old sky blue sleeveless turtleneck and instantly remembered it as the starting point for the outfit. I also wanted to add grey colour in some form.

Outfit 1 - I had to wear practical outfit as I was visiting a friend with young child in the morning, so the jeans were the obvious choice. While BF jeans would probably give better silhouette with the longer cardigan, I wanted to try the bootcuts ('the lamp'). I added the big scarf with swirly motif to reflect the fluffy clouds and also the silvery cuff made of big circles.

Outfit 2 - Afternoon errands. The sleeveless turtleneck is worn under the dark grey one. Wearing dark grey pinstripe hose too.

Joyful extra - A few days ago Amiable wrote she had jam making marathon. Well, Amy, if you're reading this, thanks for saving the last of the plums we've had. With some sugar and cinnamon, they have been turned into a jam which will hopefully taste good in tomorrow's breakfast Not a marathon, but a little walk - and I had loads of fun cleaning, tasting and adjusting the flavour.

Thanks for reading and commenting.
