Another Anna outfit. I loved wearing this. I bought this tweed jacket from J. Crew about a year ago, and have never really loved the ways that I've styled it. This worked. I loved the dark blue skinnies paired with the simple knit top, and the punk-inspired boots really hit the nail on the head. The boots balanced out the message of the jacket, and I think that's what I was missing. Anna rightly identified that in order for this to feel "me" I needed to keep a pretty prominent element that was at odds with the frumpy, ladies that lunch vibe that is so easy for me to slip in to with pieces like this. That's what friends are for! (-:
