What was your best summer item this year?

I was just noticing that every time I wear this Classiques Entier white tuxedo jacket, I say something like "This was absolutley my very best summer purchase this year!" I was just looking back on my YLF blog, and I have worn it at least once a week since I bought it in June. Yay!!

It's a tie between my BF jeans and my navy sack dress.

Alas for Angie, but it was my casual knit navy blue maxi dress. I felt fabulous every time I put it on and it has been my go to for dinners out and company. And it broke my "no navy" rule, though I do almost always pair it with turquoise blue to brighten it up. I bought it full price at the beginning of the season and am doing my best to wear the heck out of it!

Green 'paper bag' dress! It's getting a ripped seam fixed at the cleaners as I type, or it'd have been worn yet again I still have several more shoe/belt/cami options to try before it becomes a repeat! Then we have fall top layers and boots to think about . . .

Boyfriend jeans for me too. Although I started with them back in winter, so not sure they count.

Kelly Green Blazer. I've worn it at least once a week. And I liked it so much I purchased kelly green "jeans" in the past month and have been regularly wearing those now too.

I purchased a wrinkle resistent, sleeveless blue blouse from Talbots. I had no idea how much I would love and wear this item. I wore it constantly and I felt great every single time. I wish it came in other colors because I will be buying more next year.

Interesting! I'm choosing my summer wardrobe at the moment, so this is very helpful. I'm seeing a lot of votes for BF jeans. Do you find them cooler than regular jeans or are you in a fairly temperate weather zone?

LOL Jonesy! I just bought a second pair of the *SAME* MIA sandals, on deep sale, in fear the ones I own might not last another full season. I wore them to the ground

I got them in the infinity or navy color and thought they'd be great on cooler days with jeans (creating that long leg line, natch) but I wore them with everything. They are also incredibly comfortable.

We've had a blistering hot summer and my lightweight linen 3/4 sleeve blouse has been a lifesaver. I paid full price for it from Olsen, but it's been worth every penny. Sometimes I iron it, but it looks good kinda wrinkly too.

Mmm... summer is just starting in SF Bay Area, LOL.

But maybe these white Birkenstock-lookalikes with bling.

They're Mephistos. I got them on deep deep discount, maybe I mentioned this before, because the shoe shop guy couldn't sell them to the crunchy Bay Area crowd.

Anyways, they're very comfy. I can wear them all day. And the bling makes them kinda cute and less Birkenstock-y (my brother says Birks are a way to control population growth... ahem).

It has to be my kate spade fluorescent coral clutch! I've had more fun carrying it and gotten more comments (favorable) and it has NOT shown any wear (go patent leather!).
