Because I may as well finish what I started, I exchanged the Loft tweed blazer (earlier here and here) for a size up yet again. By now I'm so confused that I can't even figure out whether this looks okay or not. It's obviously bigger in the back and shoulders, but I'm not sure if it's still doing the funny armhole thing or has other issues. (I was going to try in non-petite to see if it was better in the arms, which was a suggestion from the last thread, but they didn't have any sizes in the right range in stock.)

I'd like to keep this if it's serviceable at all, if nothing else because I don't want to be forever known at Loft as the one who returned the same blazer THREE times. This time, I did collages with all three sizes, going largest to smallest from left to right, for a little more context.

But first, I sized up in the cranberry coat here and I think it works. Seems a little roomier up top and I can layer even thick sweaters nicely. Pictures of the jacket are first (#1-#2) because they're probably prettier on the Wall view than the same too-small blazers again. Larger size is on the left, smaller on the right here too. Actual color is closer to the one on the right (for some reason, the light this morning was really weird). I think the larger one is bunching up a little because it's longer in the torso, but I like it enough to just deal with that because the odds of another awesome, reasonably-priced cranberry jacket that doesn't do that on me are approximately nil.

Next is the Loft jacket (#3-#4). I know I sound like I don't love it, but mostly I'm just sick of the process and want it to work in some size after all this effort.

#5-6 is another random jacket I tried on at AT in a size larger than I'd usually go. Not sure if I love it, but does this at least look more like the fit I should be going for in the shoulders? It's at least not doing the back pulling thing, but it just looks like it has excess fabric there instead. If this one fits in the shoulders, I guess I could get it tailored in the body.

I actually did a jacket-oriented shopping trip yesterday, but I had trouble even finding many options to try on. The petite department at Nordstrom near me has really shrunk so there wasn't much there and I was going to try Talbot's, which someone (Suz, I think?) had suggested, but the one at this mall apparently closed recently. So this one was the only one that even made it home.

To end with a bright note, here's what I wore today, with the new Eileen Fisher cardigan making its debut, in #7. Really enjoyed wearing it!

Thanks for your patience, anyone who's reading this, and I really, really appreciate all the feedback I've gotten so far. I'm sorry if I sound whiny here. It's just kind of frustrating dealing with both the fit challenges and the fact that, since I don't think I've ever seen myself in a well-fitting blazer, I'm kind of flailing around trying to figure out what I should be comparing these to.
