I got all crazy and bought this tangerine top and white linen lounge pants yesterday. Our weather cooled off nicely so I was able to wear this outfit while doing errands today and got compliments at literally every stop. I'm quite pleased with myself for boldly going with both volume and color all in one shot. I've included pics of the bangles, sandals, and top detail simply because you can't really see them in the long shot.

And I'm daring to show my face. Woo hoo! And is there anything as comfy as linen???

This looks so comfy, colorful, and breezy! The bangles are beautiful, and I adore the color of that top!! To answer your question, there is nothing as comfy in warm weather as linen in my opinion.

You need to be on a lounge chair at a resort, being fed peeled grapes (while being fanned by the pool boy), lol! What a glamorous splash of color and dramatic sweep of volume! You look fab, and it's nice to see your pretty face, too!

I love the colour combo and the top. I am unsure as to whether the top works with the wide, wide trousers though - the angle of the photo is not reflecting the outfit shape accurately here - although it's fab to see you post. What do you think, teeandcee?

Thank you everyone. I felt rather Rodeo Drive today, for my Midwestern town, that is. Although I do think I need to be in the Caribbean instead.

Angie or anyone else, I love this outfit because it's so colorful, summery, and courageous for me (and comfy, lol) but I'm wide open to any suggestions. If anything doesn't work I'm fine with that. I'm trying to stretch my fashion horizons so expect I'll make plenty of mistakes along the way. Honesty is always appreciated and I don't get my feelings hurt easily!

That top is gorgeous and I love it with the bangles and the sandals. You could try it with narrower bottoms, just for kicks to see how volume on top balanced with less volume on the bottom might look.

The orange is such a beautifully vibrant color. I like this look on you. I think you have the proportions pretty good, so it all looks very balanced to my eye.

I love this on you - the whole outfit looks casually chic. You have the most beautiful hair, too. What is the name/brand of the polish on your toes, it's gorgeous?

Butterflylady, that's a $1.99 Wet-N-Wild color called Bite the Bullet, #207B. It's their new Megalast version of polish and IMO it lives up to its name, at least on my toes. I call it purple for grownups.

Love the top, sandals and bangles. I also love the pants- not sure about together. It probably flows really nicely!
