Hi all,

I wanted to update you on my "wear everything challenge" and post some of my recent outfits. The challenge is going well. I wore 1/3 of my clothes and so far I haven't broken my rule of no purchases.

Some recent outfits:
Most of my clothes come from Target, Old Navy, H&M, Zara and MNG. These stores are not really popular on the forum, so I didn't bother to note where each item comes from. Let me know if you want to know more about a particular item.

Another wow here! I love every single outfit - I honestly cannot pick a favorite. It's great how many different looks, colors & trends you were able to do with clothing you already own.

Wow! You look super Bella (is that your name?) I like ALL of your outfits; and love that you wear so many different colors. Great accessories, too.
Not sure why you say that the stores you mentioned are not popular on the forum. I myself shop at H&M, Zara and Mango LOTS, and sometimes at Target (especially for accessories.) I like bargain shopping, and you certainly show how stylish it can look!

I love your style! #1 & 3 are my favourites. I really like the lime green shirt. I also love the way you use scarves - very inspiring! For what its worth, I shop at all the stores you mention - except MNG -what's that stand for?

You look great in all your outfits! And great job on the challenge! I also shop at Old Navy and Target (I don't have a Zara or MNG in my area). I suspect many forum members (if not necessarily the outfit posters, then the readers) shop at these stores often, although stores like Banana Republic and J Crew and the like are mentioned more often here. Be proud of your ability to look incredibly stylish on a reasonable budget!

Thank you all very much for the positive feedback. Let me say that I am inspired by every single one of you! Putting the pictures of my outfits on this forum gives me one more reason to make an effort to look put together everyday. I value immensely the feedback I get from all of you and cherish the friendly atmosphere created on this forum, so thank you!

The skirt in the first picture is from Target (last season).

dee - MNG is the short form of MANGO, another Spanish brand like Zara.

Antje - I have been using "bella" on online forums for a long time even though it is not my real name, I hope it is OK.

Wow, I really love everything! But the one that popped out for me the most was the outfit with the gray cords, gray sweater and green blouse w/scarf.

It popped out for me for kinda selfish reasons. ;-)... I have a similarly colored green blouse, that is hanging in my closet as one of those items I need to wear or it gets culled!

This green is one of my favorite colors; the shirt I have has ruffles etc. I haven't worn it because I'm not sure what to layer over it. And now I see your photo - and .... well, I'd never have considered gray in a million years - but it looks FAB!!! What inspiration!

But it does make me want gray cords now too.

Do you have close-up of the scarf? Was that your inspiration for pairing green and gray together?

I forgot to mention that the tweed skirt in day #4 is the same skirt that I posted some time ago. It is part of a suit and was a closet orphan. Thanks for helping me put it into circulation.

Shiny - Actually I have to admit, the cords are khaki so the whole outfit has a lot more green going on than one might like, but somehow they all worked together. I actually started with the cords and the shirt. I had gray and black as layering options. I had already tried black so I decided to go with gray this time. The scarf was only the finishing touch. I will take a picture of the scarf for you.

Another target shopper here. I'd say half my tops are from there. No H&M or Zara in Australia, although I do think I have seen one MNG.

Bella, super job on the outfits! I honestly love all of them. My favorite is the tweed mini skirt with the button up and v-neck sweater. Very ladylike, but still fun and youthful. I love that you're just shopping your closet--how inspirational!

It's seriously hard to pick a favorite, Bellacville. You look terrific in every single one. I really like the silhouettes in no.4 and no.5. And you look terrific in jeans! You have a great eye for putting things together.

You know, it's uncanny how much you look like my friend N. (who's on another continent). Your facial features, coloring, everything.

You look very stylish, and I love your use of accessories. I did recognize the rescued skirt, and I also like the green/grey combination, looks great with your coloring.
Not that I am a trendsetter, but I do shop at all the places you mentioned. I think BR and AT get mentioned a lot here because of their large footprint.

It's interesting to see how you all have different favorites!:) I have to say day#4 is one of my favorites so I'm glad Ana mentioned it!

Target is really great for layering tee, accessories, sports and lounge wear even shoes. I really like their clothes as well but usually it is hard for me to find clothes that fit since their sizes seem to run big. This skirt, for example, is unfortunately a little too big on me but I make it work with a belt.

Lena - it is very possible that your friend and I come from the same country. I am originally from a different continent myself:)

Love all the outfits! You have great style. I was really inspired by your outfits. I shop at Target and H&M all the time; and only don't shop at Mango and Zara because they don't have stores in Seattle. Seeing your outfits makes me wish they did.

I love your sense of style. Very inspirational! I actually plan on copying your tweed skirt outfit with a new skirt I got (at Ana's suggestion).
I also shop at Target (accessories and basics), and would shop at H&M and Mango if we had them. You've just proved yet again that style isn't about a dollar amount. Way to go!

Target has the most addictive online shopping site on the planet -- a 1000% better than the stores, and I can spend days in the stores. And if you sign in with your Amazon login and order more than $50 of stuff, shipping is free. Returns can be done right at the regular store.

I'd never have guessed that most of your clothes come from Target, ON, H&M, Zara & MNG (I'm not familiar with the last one).

I love the skirt in number 1. And I love the combination of the grey pants, black sweater and chartreuse green shirt.
