Thanks again!
Kristen - I didn't know that you could shop at Target with your amazon login, I will have to check that out when my challenge is over!:)

Everything has already been said, Bella (of course you can be Bella online;-). You really have a knack for putting together fun and stylish outfits.

I want to go scarf shopping with you!-)
I don't think we've seen you in pink before, I really love you in that sweater, and you have such gorgeous shiny dark hair!!

Inge thanks!:)
I have worn fuchsia before (perhaps not pink) but not since my challenge has started. I will post one picture for you here:

This reminded me a recent post by Angie, where she was talking about wearing fuchsia and red together. This is how I've worn it before:

Thanks for the compliments on my hair. I am thinking of starting another topic on hair color, more precisely to dye or not to dye ??:)

Oooh thanks for those pics Bella. Two super outfits! And the fuchsia and red work like a charm on you.
I love it how you can wear both bright and more subdued colours equally well.

Dyeing your hair!!?-)
Ok, shoot! (as long as you're not going pink - long story: my three year old niece wants to be a princess, and when we went to the hairdresser's on Friday she insisted on getting pink hair 'because real princesses have pink hair'. I don't know where on earth she got that idea. FYI: she's still blond;-)

Bella, your style is awesome and inspirational. You look wonderful every single day. I also love that you're shopping your closet. I can't really pick a favorite but you have reminded me that I have a black v-neck sweater very similar to yours that I should layer with a button down because it's a little roomy in the chest.

Inge, I just have to laugh about your niece-- maybe you could find some pink clip on hair extensions? I really want her dream to come true now.

Bella, you have such a classy and sophisticated look, and on a budget too!!! It's impossible to pick a fave, but I love the tweed skirt. Wish I had one too!

Inge - your niece is too cute!:)
A couple of years ago, I read this essay in the New York Times, it is hilarious and I think it does a good job analyzing our princess obsessed consumer culture:

I don't have much time now but I will start a new topic on hair dye when I get a chance.

Patience - Thanks a lot. I think this is one of the reasons why I like this forum. Seeing other people's outfits gives me ideas for combinations from my own closet.

I am late to comment here, but I agree that your project is a great success so far. You look amazing in all of your outfits, I love them all.

I have to disagree with you about those shops not being popular on the forum, I shop a lot at H&M, at recently started too at Zara and MNG ( those are fairly new to this area and not so easily accessible). And I have noticed that a lot of ladies here like those stores, it is just that not everyone has access to them.

I am absolutely in love with that lilac cowl neck sweater from your last outfit and would like to know where it is from and if it is a relatively recent purchase ( so there's hope of me finding it too).

Thanks Tanya! That cowl neck sweater (which is more of a soft pink) is from H&M, it is not a recent purchase. I bought it a couple of years ago, ironically in Boston!:)

Another very stylish lass. You look absolutely wonderful, Bella. Love your style!

I’m a BIG Zara, MNG and H&M fan – especially Zara. I keep on encouraging more people to shop there, but they don’t have an online site which I guess makes it a little harder.

Thanks Angie, I am blushing!:)

Zara is fabulous, isn't it? We don't have a Mango or Zara close-by either but I get to indulge when I go back home for the holidays!:)

Bella,
I am really late in response but wanted to thank you so much for your posting. You are SO glamorous!! I love the colors that you wear, they suit your very dramatic style and great figure. You are stylish and classic! Please keep posting

You look great Bella! I love the variety in your wardrobe. I also shop at Target but I have not been to H&M in a while. I think I will need to go back b/c it seems like other forum members have gotten some nice things there. Thanks for posting, I look forward to seeing more of your outfits!

Bella - slightly off topic, but thanks for posting that link to the Cinderella story. It was a great read!

As a freelance writer I have worked a lot for Mattel, and write about Barbie. I've actually been accosted at parties by women who tell me that Barbie is evil. I don't agree, but I do understand the concerns. It's really all about marketing, in the end.

I actually write mostly for the GROWNUP Barbie collectors, which is a whole different story, and almost stranger in some ways. But as someone who enjoys fashion, Oh My God! Some of Barbie's outfits are amazing. Anyway - that was a great article. Thanks!

Thanks again ladies!

Tara - No problem. I have a degree in sociology so I found the article very interesting and I am happy to hear your opinions. I knew that you were a writer but I didn't know you wrote about Barbie - even though it is for collectors. What an interesting job, I'd love to hear more about it.

im a bit late, but ive been so busy lately, i haven't had time to check in as much as i'd like!

you look fabulous all week! my favorite is probably the tweed miniskirt outfit. but, really, all the looks are great!

Patience: we hadn't even thought of that yet, clip on hair extensions. I'll suggest it to my sister;-)

Thanks for linking to that essay Bella. I've saved it to my desktop to read it when I have a bit more time.

Tara: writers really do write about the most diverse subjects, don't they. Grownup Barbie collectors, that must be a "world of its own".
