A couple more WIWs for this week. One is a work outfit, with a black base, and the other is a non-work, at-home look, in light neutrals.

The casual outfit reminds me a bit of the capsule Angie offered this week: Casual and Comfy for Summer.

These are both so fab, Firecracker. I love the metallic dress. So cool! Your casual outfit is perfect too. You look comfy and casual for sure! The metallic shoes and belt really make the outfit special! Great to see you!

I heart 1 & 4 they are SO fun and I love the unexpected sparkle in #1 I can see that outfit in many settings. I would love to copy but I have no sequin dresses. Marking as a favorite both of these will inspire outfits in my closet.

Your casual is so beautiful. Who knew jeans and shorts could look so fresh and feminine? Just because of the beauty of a Well-chosen and -draped scarf and your great hair!

And I hope to have the chutzpah to dress up like that for work... Give me a decade or so to work up courage. You are stunning! Adore that necklace... I have a soft spot for cowries!

I love it all. Yes, I agree this is very inspirational!! Can't believe you made that dress - cool fabric. I am marking down your shorts outfit to replicate - I have very similar pieces (excluding those stellar shoes), but never even thought to throw on a fab scarf!!!!

Manidipa, you are so kind. I have a lot of leeway in what I wear to work--it's not a formal setting. So I can get creative if I want.

Jackiec, I'll be waiting to copy your copy! Did you notice we are belt twins? (I saw you mentioned it in the blog post.)

Wow! Both outfit are fabulous. The dress is amazing. On my screen I thought it was sequins!! The first outfit has such a sense of "I know who I am". This would so turn my head if I passed you in the street. And #2 is a wonderful casual outfit. Perfect proportions. And you hair is looks so gorgeous.

Love your casual fab..2 is wonderful and the bag is the perfect size and shape to rock your look...The casual vibe in 3 and 4 is perfect...I love the scarf with both...All in all you completed a perfect capsule for casual summer wear..Good for you...

Both looks are fab but I'm smitten with the shorts outfit. I must copy These colors look so good with your hair. The length of your shorts drew me in, I think that's going to be my sweet spot too, I think it's very flattering. Now if I could work up the courage to wear a scarf in the summer . . .

I think I saw fabric very similar to your dress in Vogue Fabrics this week! The dress outfit it arty eclectic and very flattering on you. #2 is such a laid back, but sophisticated way to do casual. "Smart casual" looks pay attention to details, as you do here. It's nice to be dressed for "play" and still know you look fabulous.

Love the dress in #1! The combination with the fab short jacket and leggings is splendid.

#2 is a fabulous casual look. Just lovely. The soft taupey shades and hints of gold coming through from your scarf are really harmonious. You wear them just as well as the dark tones in #1.

Thank you all! I do like my neutrals, but I've been wanting to add some plain colored t-shirts this season, and I just don't seem to find quite the right colors. So neutrals will carry me through till I find the right blues, reds, and purples.
