I headed to Zara yesterday morning for a quick browse, and could have burned a major hole in my wallet. The way my local Zara is set up is that all new stock is put out in the front half of the store, basics such as jersey dresses, cardigans and sweaters are in the middle of the store by the tills and older stock and their stock for teenagers is in the back half of the store.
The new stock features loads of black, navy and cream. There actually is a fabulous cream and black patterned halterneck dress and an aline skirt in the same pattern. Loads of A-line skirts, a couple of sack dresses, loads of pencil skirts in different neutrals. Even amongst the ditsy floral group, I managed to find two woven blouses in kelly green and sky blue, both colours which really suit me. They also have had a strong focus on all shades of blue recently. Overall, I was very impressed with the stock they had yesterday as it also included other trends than ditsy florals. Hopefully, some of this will arrive over to the US shops soon!
