These won approval from my fellow DC YLF shoppers but I've been feeling too self-conscious to wear them yet. Do you ever feel that way? All brave and adventurous in the store and then not so brave at home? I bought some bold things that day but haven't worn some of them yet. These pants are incredibly lightweight, airy and comfortable.
In an effort to either reassure myself that these weren't a mistake or to give me a reality check if this isn't flattering to me, I submit the flowy patterned pants for your consideration and honest feedback.
I struggle to see my body objectively. When I see a picture of myself, my eyes go immediately to my hips/thighs because that's the area I'm most sensitive about. These pants definitely do not deemphasize that area, which I guess is the reason for my hesitation. I just need to know if the all-over patterned leg is enough to keep the eye moving.
In 1 and 3, shirt is tucked into waistband, which has black banding at the sides. # 2 is untucked. Ignore my totally goofy expression in 3!
