Zara heeled booties: K/R

I quite like these and feel they'd be perfect with my Bootcuts, skinnies, and my pencil skirt. Shown with my other black heeled booties, which are suede, almond toe, and stacked wood heel. Can one justify a second pair of black heeled booties? These are $150. Keep or return?

I like them a lot! Is the heel height the same as your suede ones?
Personally, I have had no trouble justifying more than one (um, several...) pairs of black booties. The question I ask myself is whether they fill a different need than the ones I already have: different heel height, works for different weather, one is better for dresses and one for pants, etc.
Sometimes just the different leather is enough to earn a spot.
A pair of polished leather boots is a little dressier and more refined than suede, IMO, for example.
Does that help you rationalize the purchase?

If they're comfortable, I vote keep! The toe shape and leather (vs. suede) make them quite different, in my opinion. Plus, the ankle fit is terrific.

I think they are different enough from your suede booties that it does make sense to keep. Totally different vibes!

These have a chunkier heel and look to be more comfortable and practical than your suede booties, especially in winter. I can see you easily walking through an airport in these shoes, for example. Not so much in the suede ones, which appear to have a higher and thinner heel.

If they're comfy, then keep, for sure!

(What is the sizing like with Zara shoes? I've never tested the waters.....)

I love them and to me they are quite different from the others. These look like "in between" boots -- they are not as dressy because of the chunky heel but they can still look good with a casual dress. If they are comfy, I vote KEEP!

(And show me the dress....I didn't order yet....)

Keep! Price is good, they look fantastic and very current, and if they feel good, then it's a no-brainer to me Perfect with the kinds of dresses and bottoms you wear.

Viv, this is a different boot altogether so i don't think you would be duplicating. of course i am biased because i love the pointy toe and the chunky heel of the zara ones. are they leather?

Yes get them! How do they feel? I am considering a pair of Zara pointy toe booties (these) myself but am unsure of comfort.

Thanks everyone. Kristin, you are so right that these are much more walkable than my other heeled black ones, better for airports and general city walking. So far they seem pretty comfortable right out of the box which is my experience with low heeled boots from Zara. They only carry full sizes 8 or 9. I am usually an 8.5 so went with a 9 as I have in the past and they seem great. And yes they are leather. I think I am keeping.

Denise, I've tried both pairs you listed. I tried on the double zip one just yesterday - I loved the look of them! However as I get older I seem to be more and more intolerant to pointier toes. The first pair is not as pointy as the second, and were almost do-able. I love the double zips and the chunkier look, yet still a bit of pointy toe. They might work for you though! The quality seemed quite good too.

Funny, Jackie, Lisa and I were just talking about pointy toes and age. It's possible these will be my last pair. Another reason to get them and enjoy while I can, I guess. Sigh.

Jackie and Viva, thanks for the reports! I find the lower the heel, the easier it is to tolerate the pointy toe. Also, the higher quality shoes have felt more comfortable. The LD Tuttles (still holding in a box, may or may not keep) are very comfortable. The F21 booties, just OK, not too comfortable, but hey they were $35, already scuffed, no big deal to say good bye to them.

Both pairs of boots are quite different, so I say yes you can have two pairs of black heeled boots. They are quite stunning.
