I had a such a crappy day today that I almost send this Zara package back without trying on. And I think I should have. Or maybe white dress has some potential?

So sorry you’re having a bad day. Will that affect how you feel about the items, if you keep them? I agree- the white jumpsuit seems off at the crotch point, and the yellow/green print dress looks too large. The white floral print looks like it fits well, and the colors seem as if they’d work with your wardrobe. Do you like that one?

Kathie - I agree with your assessment about jumpsuit and green dress. White dress is only thing worth considering, but maybe I should postpone decision until I am in better mood.

Idk. If the jumpsuit is too short, it’s too short—nothing to be done. The yellow dress is huge, but it’s also completely unstyled. I’m not so sure about the white floral. It fits you fine, everywhere, but how would you wear it? As is it’s very predictable and doesn’t have the spunk your outfits usually pack.
How ugly about office politics!

Nikki, the girl across the street when we were growing up is now a teacher. Every year, she has her students paint stones like that, or with hearts, rainbows, other happy things, then they hide them for other people to find.

How awful that adults would play mean games like Middle Schoolers. So much for office culture. Unfortunately, I am all too familiar, as I teach and teachers are often as bad as the kids in terms of game-playing, gossip and interpersonal conflicts. I am known for staying out of it, as I want absolutely no part of it (likely you feel the same way).

As for the Zara haul, I like the way the white jumpsuit fits, but if it doesn't feel right then move on. There are LOTS of jumpsuits out there right now, so if you really want one, a better fit should not be hard to find. The second yellow/green dress is too big, but the last dress is just smashing on you. The fit looks perfect and it is so flattering!

I’m sorry to hear you had a bad day. I know how it is. That said, I think the dress in 3 looks very nice on you. I really like the jumpsuit but you need to be feeling it! The dress in 2 swamps you — definite return!

I like the dress in 3 but I would pause until your mood lifts. It is a really good fit and shape - I like the print but I think it has to be a print that you love.

The white floral dress looks really beautiful on you. I would definitely wait until you are in a better frame of mind before assessing whether to return everything.

I'm not a huge fan of the other two pieces.

Anchie, it is better to be naive and trusting than cold and cynical. They let you down, not you. Good call on returning the items, things do get tainted by association.

I tend to be naive and trusting too. Anymore I take ownership of crap that results. Realizing that I have the control to decide how I want to go through the world, even if I choose a way that I know opens me to hurt, helps me not feel so dumb and hurt when those things happen. My son is not naive and trusting. He is Black, so is aware that things aren’t always what they seem, and he guards his heart.

Suntiger- as of 1.7 no more wfh for me, have to be in the office full time. If I was not working from home before, I would probably realized sooner what is going on, maybe would even be able to do something about it. But now it came as a shock. And it is too late.

I 'like' the white jumpsuit, but agree about the odd fit in crotch area. 2ND pic dress is meh, bland and too large. The 3rd pic the dress is beautiful on you, great fit and works good with your lovely coloring
