These sandals were out of stock, so I put myself on a list to be reminded when they became available in my size. I’m a half size (a true 9.5) but since they did not come in half sizes, I ordered a 10. I should have taken that as a sign.
They arrived today, and though they are leather, and quite good looking, they are going back. The 10 is too big, but I will not re-order in a 9 because of the sole. It is heavy, hard and completely inflexible. I would compare it to the material that is used in the fabrication of synthetic kitchen cutting boards!!
Since I can’t envision walking even one city block in these sandals, I can not recommend them. It is disappointing, because I have been looking for this style in a sandal for two summers now. So sad. Next!
