Just had to come back and comment ...

These camouflage pants you've chosen Vicki - they really speak to what Angie was saying in her blog post this morning. There are *ways* of blending 'trendy' with classic.

Here's the quote from Angie's blog post that fits beautifully with these fab pants of yours:

"Find trendy pieces in tailored cuts and neutral colours: You might like more of the trendier items if you choose pieces that are structured and neutral." (~ Angie, in her blog post this morning).

AHA!

Very helpful for me, because I don't always feel like the trendy items are "for me" - but you've shown me how it's done, beautifully.

URBAN PRINCE!!!! Oh, my style twin..(quadruplet?)

You are a terrible, awful, horrible, no good, very bad girl. You have made me want these pants (and I hate camo, ordinarily) because you look so amazing in every single one of these outfits!! LOVE the flat white booties, too!

Now I want the pants too. But first I have to faint. Please have tea and cake ready for when I regain consciousness.

*faints*

I wish Zara had online shopping in Canada! But I guess I will just enjoy them vicariously through all you Urban Princes.

You've tickled the heart of this Urban Prince and I bow to your love for abstract camo! Let it officially be announced to those near and far in the enchanted and noble lands of YLF that I am keeping these Zara pants.

I'm just finishing a half-day shoot as a patient (the cameraman loved my Sam Edelman Petty Python booties, Angie, my shoe twin!). My role was to have my temperature and pulse taken and pretend to discuss pain. I'll write more later and thanks again for your strong support of these as they are really comfortable. I did try on the GAP and they are extremely comfy also, so they may find a place, too.
