Zappos - Is there something going on?

Out of curiosity, I wanted to see some Nike sneakers, specifically the Cortez, which I had when I was in college, and I feel some nostalgia for. I looked at Nordstrom, and there were a lot of choices, but no Cortez. I looked at Zappos, and they had no Nike sneakers whatsoever. That’s right - none. Did I miss something? Is there a feud I’m unaware of?

Nike has had an ongoing reduction in who it allows to sell its products. And it’s had an on going issue with Amazon (parent company of Zappos)

In the last couple months, I’ve found that Zappos doesn’t have the variety I’d seen in the past.

Kathie, I’ve noticed that, too. Also, searches on brands doesn’t work for me. I wonder if they are slowly going away…

Kathie, you’re onto something. I can find brands more easily on Amazon or end up ordering directly from the brand.

Zappos used to be my first line choice for shoes, due to selection and service, but I have rarely found things I like there anymore. The selection is often limited in terms of sizes, and they seem to be carrying more past season styles and not the current ones.

It makes me sad to think Zappos might be fading away. I loved that I could order something today and have it in my hands tomorrow.

Zappos really was the OG for me in terms of instant satisfaction.

Zappos was the best before it was sold to Amazon. If you see something on Zappos, it's likely on Amazon too. Why even have Zappos? I loved the variety Zappos offered back in the day.
