Your thoughts on this dress

Hi friends, Any thoughts on this studded Michael Michael Kors Sweater dress. I have basically been off of bling and accessories lately. These studs are reading as almost a polka dot pattern, but slightly edgier for me... I've been looking for a plain black sheath to wear with jackets for a while. I'm wondering if this might be a good solution. I also really like that it has sleeves and the fabric looks substantial. I'm just hesitating because of the studs... are they still ok, or is this style over and done? Thanks for any thoughts you may have on this style...

I love the dress and personally would wear it in a herthbeat. But I tend to like studs in general and will always wear them in little doses whether they are in or not.

I would suggest getting the dress, trying it with all the jackets you were hoping to wear it with and then decide.

Same as Tanya - I love it and would wear it myself. I think I'd wear my basic black dresses more often if they had a cool detail like this.

I like the dress a lot. I just put it on my list to buy, actually. Not a big fan of studs generally, but these look tastefully done and not punky. Like, a little edge, without going over the edge, you know?

I like it, too. I wouldn't buy it just to have studs, but if the dress is a great fit (and with sleeves!), then I think the studs are subdued but interesting and the whole effect is tasteful. It's a nice basic style so there's room for that detail.
